Experimenting with turning bowls in plywood
And building it into a coffee table.
A small coffee table in the shape of a G (sort of)
1 version in oak and 1 in beech
Had some leftovers from the book rack.
Made a prototype chair.
Just 2 frames, a whole lot of small pieces, 6m of stainless 6mm bar, and a few screws. No glue…
Next time I’ll level out the from and top, to avoid the jagged edge.
6 metal bars, 30mm + A few shelves with +-30mm hole = a book rack with movable shelves.
metal with varnish, beech plywood with osmo oil.
Spin-off from the veneer bowl.
In metal and glass
First group project for my VOMO education.
We chose to make a scale in veneer.
It’s a puzzle made with the 123d apps
We’re planning on making a glass surface because the veneer is to fragile, but to be able to do that we need the scale laser-cut from a metal sheet. And we’re still looking for a cheap place to do that…
