So I wanted to make a table I could extend, but I couldn’t find a good place to put the extension parts.
So I made the extension into a light..
The lights remain on the ceiling, the frame comes down to hold the table leaf.
The table leaf itself are 2 paintings hanging on the wall. (Still need to be painted tho)
Light info: LED strip 60LED/m
130LUX at 1m50. (70W Halogen = 130LUX, 60W incandescence light bulb = 80LUX)
Take a perspex sheet, paint the backside black, drill 90 holes, install 90 LEDs, paint the backside of the LEDs black and you get a hidden light.
When the light is out, you can’t see the LEDs. Only when you look very close.
Makes for a nice suprise….
Just wanted to create a different shape with the wood
Ellipse measuring 2m-1m thickness 3cm, width going from 12cm on short edges to 6cm on long edges
Hung on the ceiling with stainless steel cables through pulleys, this way the lamp can be put out of level
